It is a worthy cause!

You can pause
And think
Why all the ado
For this cause
Well to make all smile
Is a worthy cause
To pause all
And make it fall
Into place
Here is the Ace
Smile and be happy
To spread sunshine around
As we have found
To make life sound
From all angles
Just pucker your lips
And beam away
And we all pray
That it sticks
All the way
Like a Cheshire cat
A smile that is wide
Can make one ride
Smoothly through toughest times
A bridge over troubled waters
It is not a figment
Rather something Cogent
For it spreads warmth
Look at the flowers blooming
Harbingers of Spring
And the birds chirping
On the trees and saplings
Feel the tickling
The blue skies
Sunshine, clouds and the highs
Smile an everlasting smile
For it brings all closer by the mile
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A very nice poem, Sanjay uncle. Seeing qualities in others is the thing which makes me smile the most. Either I match them with me and feel good to interact. Or, catching those qualities also makes me feel proud that how good they look with them, which again motivates me and I smile. In short, developing myself makes me happy and contented, and I smile.
Helping others in any kind which brings smile in others, makes me smiling and proud. I feel happy to be happy and make others happy.
Nature, Music, Dance, Yoga, Widening my knowledge space, … The list is very long….
Hi Sanjay,I like the poem because it talks if ‘spreading” the sunshine. The sun is there. But it doesn’t seem to shine for everyone. So if we can help spread the shine we make others happy. Flowers, birds, all exist to spread happiness. So the crux of the poem is that none of us live in isolation. Be happy to make others happy and that in turn makes us happy. Find your smiles in the simple things of life, on what we have and not on what we don’t have.
what a beautiful cause!
Sanjayji, you have touched upon a core act ( smiling ) which is all that’s required to turn defeat into victory, inadequacy into contentment and disillusionment into inspiration; there’s a commercial doing the rounds these days wherein a single senior lady citizen annouces her decision to take a partner, to her family, with a smile; which says it all; on a more terra firma note, there are times when my face will be distorted with anguish and anxiety, thanks to certain challenges that I face; at such times I force myself to smile and within moments l overcome all challenges; and am ready for fresh “shot” at life;
Thanks Sanjay ji for identifying the game-changer that very often makes the difference between light and darkness; Here’s wishing you Many Many More Happy Hours of composing poetry !!!
